Nancy & Anthony may the the craziest schedule of any couple I know... (and quite possibly two of the craziest dogs). I'm so thrilled we were able to get in a quick engagement session before your wedding this winter.

Umm, and who in the world still has a pair of vintage roller skates lying around? You are the coolest. They will look just fab next to your new Velvet Unicorn Painting!

Without further ado... pictures of you!

Cheers,
Krystal

20/10: Alli & Tim

Despite having only 10 minutes of golden autumn sunlight, Alli & Tim's engagement session definitely has a soft sweet glow about it. And I love any fella that is willing to wrestle giant metal alligators for sheer comedic value... and clearly Alli does too!

We went to the Baughman Center, after the stadium, where they will be having their wedding this spring to get a few images and we stumbled on a shaft of beautiful light skimming over the side of a Century Oak covered in vines and Spanish Moss. Quintessential Florida!

I hope you love them as much as I do and we can't wait to see your save-the-date cards!

Cheers,
Krystal

You'd think that a dentist would avoid being in this position in his off hours :)

See it just sounds like they go together naturally doesn't it?

Edward, the musician, who has been playing for years, brought his instrument and Stephanie's dancing duds all the way from Oklahoma just for their engagement photoshoot! And, of course, her sister's wedding in Jacksonville that weekend. So basically it was a non-stop couple of days and photo-stravaganza for their vacation. They may need a vacation from their vacation right about now.

It was our pleasure to photograph a couple with an artistic vision, especially on a day when the sun looked like melted gold in the sky.

We hope you melt a little when you see all your yummy photos too.

Cheers,
M&K

This is the downtown closest to us, if you never knew how rural an area we are based in, here is a peek!

And Kaylen & Dustin were kind enough to go out on Hichcock's Main Street for their charming engagement session. We think she may have he cutest nose on the planet.

Oh, and Dustin is no slouch either :)

Please to enjoy... and see you this May!

You may remember Shelby from the holiday portraits we did of her and her sister back in December! We were so thrilled when she told us she got engaged over Christmas and commissioned us for her wedding to Ben in November! So recently I visited the Butterfly Gardens at the Florida Natural History Museum on the UF campus for their engagement images!

I love how the color of the flowers matches Ben's shirt:

A butterfly landed on Shelby's shirt and wouldn't leave:

Thanks for the free tickets to the museum!

Despite fighting the flu and storm clouds, Allison & Erich, were all smiles for their engagement session at Allison's family property.

I'm so in love with the images of you both lying down!

See you both soon at your wedding later this April, and we heard you guys have a kickin band... we're going to have to show off some of our uber sweet dance moves- Look out!

Cheers,

Brittany was Lauren and Danny's maid of honor last July, and she and Matt are getting married this June 27th (which coincidentally is my birthday). For Lauren and Danny's engagement session, we popped just south of Gainesville to downtown Williston. In keeping with "quaint small-town location" tradition, we headed north to beautiful downtown Alachua for Matt and Brittany's portraits. It's just one of the cutest places you'll ever see...which is perfect because Brittany is one of the cutest brides you'll ever see. Notice how she's beaming in every image!

Brittany and Matt, that was much fun :)

Oh, and check back on the blog soon for Jennifer and Billy's engagement session, which I also photographed in downtown Alachua, but it looks completely different. Weird.

Best wishes,

Matt

Good things come to those who wait! When Jennifer and Ashley commissioned us for their March wedding at Sweetwater Branch Inn back in July, they asked if that was a good time to do their engagement portraits. Well, outside in July in Florida...not so pleasant. So we waited until November instead, and it was certainly worth the wait. Cool weather, calm breeze, beautiful light, and sweet people like Jennifer and Ashley.

Please to enjoy :)

It's such a pleasure to photograph my very best friend's brother Jim & his fiance Stephanie's wedding! It's sorta like watching my own little brother get married.

So of course we had to go down town and do a few engagement photos before the big day (which is almost here)! And they found the coolest new digs down on Main Street Gainesville, Sharab Lounge. Who was also gracious enough to allow us to do a shoot during their grand opening party even.

Can't wait to go back there to kick back with the bridal party this Saturday!

Now hurry up and pick one out so we can have your print ready for the wedding- no pressure :-)

Cheers,
M&K

Check out those sweet stems! Lucky Jim.
