The K-pop boy band Stray Kids has made history with six straight entries that debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 main albums chart.
Billboard on Dec. 22 said in a chart preview article that the group's "Hop" beat out Kendrick Lamar's "GNX" and Taylor Swift's "The Tortured Poets Department" for No. 1.
The U.S.-based magazine added, "It's the sixth leader for the group, making the pop ensemble the first act to debut at No. 1 with its first six chart entries in the nearly 69-year history of the chart."
"Oddinary," Stray Kids' sixth EP released in 2022, started the streak and was followed by "Maxident," "5-Star," "Rock-Star" and "Ate."
The group also tied BTS with sixth No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200.
Released on Dec. 13, "Hop" sold 187,000 copies in its first week in the U.S.
